Collect Support Info

The Preferences Collect Support Info Screen is used to set the data retention period for Audit Support Information Logs on the OmniVista Server. The logs can be sent to Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE) Technical Support to troubleshoot problems. Audit Support Log options are configured on Audit Collect Support Info Screen (Administration - Audit - Collect Support Info). Enter a retention period and click on the Apply button.

  • Max Retention Period - Enter a retention period, in days (Range = 1 - 31, Default = 7). The logs will be retained on the OmniVista Server for the specified number of days. The log files can be downloaded to an OmniVista Client at any time during the retention period using the Audit Collect Support Info Screen (Administration - Audit - Collect Support Info).
